Kindly help/suggest School for Yug Sisodiya (in Dehradun)
Hi All,
Yug Sisodiya is my kid; he is a 7-year-old boy.
Yug loves Robotics, Coding, Technologies, CAD and whatnot. I am an IITian with 15+ years of Industry Experience and a Techie.
Recently when ChatGPT was introduced, I told him to play with it and he used ChatGPT to make stories for him.
He really loves Kid’s level coding a lot. Here is a year-old video.
He loves playing with TinkerCAD
Robotics
He loves playing around with Robotics. I don’t have any video, but he quickly became the poster boy at his Robotics class. He is always ready to play around with Lego blocks and Robotics.
Overall, He is a born engineer and a brilliant kid.
But now let me tell you what precisely the Problem we are facing.
last year we shifted to Dehradun and found the school system still living 10–20 years old. Check this image, We placed him in one reputed school in Dehradun.
We want to admit him into Class 2,
But, He failed admission tests for a few schools.
He can’t pass their admission test because they ask only how many spells a kid knows OR how fast he can write English. Well, My kid speaks English since age 2.
In India, Kids first learn English Writing and English Reading and then English Speaking.
for Hindi, the route is
Hindi Speaking and then Hindi reading and then Hindi Writing. this is the right way. => You know what is the problem in English learning.
So, I am asking for your help to get admission for Yug in Class 2 or If you can suggest a better school or way engage brilliant kids, Please do let me know. In India, many times, “Source/Jugad” works, and You can help in Source or Jugad.
