Suggestion 1: UPI QR Code on Passbook for receiving payment.

Bank Passbook with UPI QR Code.

Imagine the UPI QR Code on the passbook itself. What a simple but very powerful idea. In one simple shot, you can distribute millions of digital QR Code to all these people. No app needed. No smartphone needed. Most of these people want to receive money.

How this is possible. Let’s understand the very simple fact.

Fact 1 — UPI Payment QR Code for receiving payment can be generated using Bank details — (Account number, IFSC Code).

Fact 2 — This QR Code doesn’t need any OTP or Mobile Number or SmartPhone or any Mobile App.

I have built an Open and Free Utility to convert (Bank details — IFSC Code, Account Number) into The UPI QR Code — https://nsisodiya.github.io/Universal-UPI-QR-Code-Generator/

Let me know If want to know more about this.

Suggestion 2: UPI QR Code Print from ATM.

How about printing a UPI QR Code

Most migrant worker population use ATM to withdraw money from their bank account. ATM is also used to print Mini Statement.

What If, If we give one more option to print their UPI QR Code so that they can also start receiving online payment without using any SmartPhone or BHIM/PayTM app.

UPI is a fantastic technology. and Bank Account based QR Code is the best feature of this technology which is still not utilized fully.

Suggestion 3: Compulsory SMS on receiving money.

Every bank might be having certain rules for sending SMS. I have seen many cases, where SMS is not sent when the transferred amount is very less like 10 rupee or 1 rupee. If All Bank and Govt make a decision on Compulsory SMS on every transaction then it will be a great help.
